Nike Air Force 1 X Alife Rivington Club

In a self-proclaimed union of two New York classics, the Air Force 1 and Alife Rivington Club link up to release a special version low-top version of the Uptown. The classic white leather upper features an embossed all-over pattern featuring stars which extends onto the insideout leather midsole. A pair of “Crispy” lacelocks and a clean gum-sole complete the package. The shoes will launch at selected retailers on March 14.

Nike Sportswear 1948 London Flagship Store

Nike opened its doors to a new retail front located in Shoreditch, London. Much like other Sportswear retailers the store features a wide assortment of product including limited edition Sportswear releases and Tier Zero product. Various installations made the 1948 event kick off in-style including the space’s floor created by Nike GRIND which featured 15,000 pairs of old sneakers recycled into a unique bottom layer. Nike also launched their 1948 Magazine which will feature a wide range of editorial content for online readership and available in print format as well.

Nike X SBTG- Spring 09 Made To Order Collection

Mark Ong- sneaker customizer, best known as SBTG, set to launch a new endeavor this Spring. The newly minted Made To Order Collection will drawn influences from one-of-the-kind SBTG created in the past, predominately from 2 popular themes: SBTG x PHU- Death From Above Project and SBTG X Lazy- Paramount Collection. Each will also consist of 2 DIY methods: classic custom paint or custom fabrication.

First is a derivative of the SBTG X Lazy- Paramount Collection. Named “White Noise”, a classic dunk in premium selvage denim, Gucci bi-color scheme, Swoosh in reptile print, and shemagh pattern.

Second evolved from SBTG X Phu- Death From Above Project and personal favorite of Mike Shinoda (seen above), lead singer of Linkin Park and a fellow sneaker designer. The Sawtooth Collection features hand-painted shark jaws, metallic attributes, and wild animal palettes. In addition there will be one-of-one design, like the Shark Attack Air Max 90. Comes in 4 colorway combos: Instinct/Bloodspot, Sable/Royal, Mono/Venom and Teal/Venom. SBTG is taking orders now on the Royalefam online store. Each will take 2 weeks to create and deliver.

Nike Cortez Brothers Animation

Nike Cortez Brothers Double Pack + Toy Set

The first look at the two sneakers and the toys that are part of the Nike Cortez Brothers Double Pack. The pack consists of a blue nylon Cortez and a silver metallic Cortez Flymotion. The design of the two sneakers is also represented in the two toys, Phil & Bill (based on Nike’s co-founders Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman).

Centered around two special characters, Phil & Bill ‘The Cortez Brothers’ and their characters are physical manifestations of the Nike Cortez – pure hybrids of classic style and performance. While Bill shares the classic style of the original 1972 Nike Cortez – he is old school, Phil, Bill’s younger brother, represents 2009 and has a tireless appetite for new things, ideas and experiences.

Nike All Court Premium X A.P.C.

The Nike All Court Premium X A.P.C. collaboration collection of sneakers is getting ready to be released and now we have some updated information for those of you who are interested in the sneakers. The collaboration between A.P.C. and Nike Sportswear resulted in three different colorways of the Nike All Court sneaker including White/Red, White/Blue, and White/White. All three will be released at the A.P.C. Japan store in the near future with a retail price of 7140yen. The sneaker is also available now at A.P.C. online store and its boutique in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood.

SOPHNET. 10th Anniversary Collection: 5/10- Dickies 874 Pants

SOPHNET. celebrate their 10th Anniversary with a set of pants alongside legendary workwear connoisseurs Dickies. Nike 10AC SS09 Collection- United One

Here we get a look at the full collection from Nike and MMA legend Caol Uno. The lineup continues the use of simple black/white color tones accenting by teal throughout a variety of pieces. As expect, most of the goods are sportswear inspired with a hint of fashionable taste incorporated in each design.

Nike Air Rejuven8 X 10AC
Produced for the 10AC line by MMA legend Caol Uno, Nike works up another sportswear inspired sneaker to compliment the lines versatile nature. Taking the Rejuven8 model, first introduced for the Beijing Olympics, Nike works up a nice colorway featuring a black and white platform with teal accenting. The sneakers feature two interchangeable booties, both sporting star graphics in contrasting colors and two distinct 10AC insoles.

Nike X Coraline Dunk- Wooden Box Edition

Wieden+Kennedy 12, in conjunction with Nike and LAIKA Studios, conceptualized this mysterious Dunk to celebrate Coraline, LAIKA’s first feature film, which will be released by Focus Features. True to the films unique, handcrafted anime style, the high-end canvas upper features a turned edge and the black visible seam is hand-sewn, ensuring each pair has a unique bespoke feel. The tonal contrast in materials and subtle, hidden details reflect the film’s sense of curiosity, not to mention the glow in the dark sole – spooky! The final product was created by artist Gian Galang and Rob Heppler.

A run of 1,000 is available for those lucky people who uncover codes on the Coraline website. A limited edition artist pack has also been released. These feature additional props from the film and a special box.

The special wooden collector’s box includes a special key in addition to a high-quality box filled with a print seen on the under portion of the lid. The Coraline movie is the most recent release 3-D animated release from film-makers LAIKA and is currently showing at select theaters.

This wooden box set was made for the 15 best sneaker stores around the globe. St. Alfred from Chicago, has one of them.
