Nike Air Crazy Force 1- Set priced @ $2599HKDNike and its long-time collaborator, pioneering toy designer Michael Lau, teamed up again to create the Nike Air “Crazy” Force 1 sneaker, the ninth launch in the Nike 1World AF1 Project featuring a total of 18 influential style leaders in sports, music, art and design.
Michael Lau’s Nike Air 'Crazy' Force 1 is a wearable quilted tribute to sneaker-loving craziness. Special design features include:
• an upper-shoe made entirely from white padded leather with white quilt-patterned stitching;
• a back heel detail with a series of five x five-count scrawls in gold, to pay tribute to the 25th anniversary of Air Force 1;
• crafted polished shoelace tags, with “CRAZY” written on the left foot, and “SMILES” on the right, honoring Lau’s infamous “Crazy Smiles” production series;
• a removable white sole insert with abstract pencil scribble art.True to the legendary collectible style of all Michael Lau creations, the much-hyped highlight of this piece is its special packaging: a boxed set featuring a pair of Nike Air “Crazy” Force 1s and a “Crazy Michael” vinyl toy figurine.
The works of photographer Boogie were recently documented by the United Front’s Matt George in Brooklyn. Ironically, the outdoor-minded ACG collection from Nike is seen in a more urban setting with Boogie’s favorite black & white style setting the tone.

Offering a more innovative and interactive approach towards their signature iD design studio, Nike will be offering a new by appointment only experience within their 21 Mercer flagship store in SoHo, New York. The Nike iD Bespoke program gives the customer a one-on-one experience with a Nike design consultant, allowing the most freedom to date when it comes to complete personal sneaker customization. Launching with the classic Air Force 1 silhouette, Bespoke allows 31 different customizable parts including the base, overlay, accent, lining, stitching, outsole, laces and deubré with the ability to choose from 82 premium, iconic materials and color options. Appointments can be made in person at the 21 Mercer location with limited slots available.
After recently showing some images of the opening of the new Nike Sportswear Harajuku Store in Tokyo, we can now thanks to Openers give you a detailed look at the flagship store. Completely different than the New York store, the Tokyo store is housed in a modern metal structure. Product displays are clean and well laid out throughout the store. Aside from the complete Nike Sportswear collection, there is also an iD studio.
