Nike’s Sport Culture department does not appear to be stopping with their campaign around Being True and the Dunk. Now the highly influential Japanese website, Honeyee, has posted a feature on their site showing various Japanese males and females rocking the Dunk with a more classic approach, showing sneakerheads and hypebeasts alike that the Dunk can be worn with almost anything and not just expensive jeans and a limited tee. 
Throughout Hirofumi Kiyonaga's three brands, FCRB (FC Real Bristol) is perhaps the most casual of his three offerings. The football inspired collection does well in combining a casual football culture with more refined pieces in a truly diverse collection. Aside from technical releases involving fabrics competent for active use, the collection also features items such as chinos and blazers. While it's often difficult to combine an athletic aesthetic into a more fashionable product, FCRB in our minds have achieved a great balance. The unveiling of their S/S collection is also something innovative and fun, utilizing toy dolls and miniature versions of the products as displays with blow-up shots of the products. SOPHNET. is rolling out its latest collection for the new year. The roll-out including this season’s addition to the SOPHNET. and F.C.R.B. labels, as well as the much anticipated Uniform Experiment, the new collaborative label with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design. Both SOPHNET. and Uniform Experiment will roll-out on February 2nd, while F.C.R.B. will preview on February 9th.

Chinese New Year’s is right around the corner and Nike is known to put out special releases to celebrate the holiday and various festivities. Here is a bag that was designed by Sam Jellymoon and Nike that will be available with the purchase of a Nike Chinese New Year hoodie. The bag was influenced by the mouse wheel.
Nike’s debut on the Year of the Rat, the first of the twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac, come as a ACG and Free hybrid - the Wildwood 90 Free Trail. Two colorways represent the two most common members of the rodent genera - the black rat (known for its filthiness) features an upper with tumbled suede in medium grey while the white rat (usually laboratorially clean) features a white hair upper. Both colorways are printed with the Chinese character rat [ιΌ ] in red and are available now at selected Nike sport culture accounts.
Nike’s Sport Culture department has recently been working hard at their COLAB series which is an extension of the Nike x “Brand X” collaborations. They have just released a series of Windrunners, Nike’s franchise jacket, that are a collaboration between Nike and three distinct artists. The three artists Nike tapped to work on this COLAB series include, Todd James (REAS), Misha Hollembach (PAM), and Parra (Rockwell). Also heard rumors that there will be some Nike Air Maxes to release as a part of the collection in the near future. 
Nike known for it’s commercials year in and year out has just put out this commercial of Portugese soccer phenom- Cristiano Ronaldo and the Bugatti Veryron- The world’s fastest “street legal” car. The commercial shows Ronaldo racing against the Veyron in the newest Nike football (soccer) cleats, the Mercurial Vapor SL. 
For former LazyMuthaFucker member Prodip, one eventful night on the soccer pitch would change his life forever. Believed to be an encounter with a flying saucer, this sighting would manifest his life and lead to the release of his upcoming Project After Dark UFO documentary. The sale of the documentary will also include a toy designed by leading toy-designer Michael Lau. Stay tuned for more details on its release. This Be@rbrick features a Nike Windrunner and Darbotz’s own take on style and design. The 400% doll also comes equipped with an original box to store the toy when it’s not on display. 
Japanese boutique Sophnet. has revealed a series of different items set to release as part of their 2008 New Year collections. Some of the releases include a Polo shirt from Uniform Experiment (project between Sophnet. & Hiroshi Fujiwara), Sophnet. Still Trad shirts, FC Real Bristol t-shirts and Dr. Romanelli x Sophnet. Emergency Medical Division Jackets.
