Nike ACG X Pendleton Backpack & Jacket

Over the last few months, we’ve seen a handful of displays regarding Nike ACG’s partnership with wool-makers Pendleton. A little seen by-product of the two’s work together includes this backpack. The motif that has been consistent across many of the other collection pieces such as footwear, apparel and accessories is maintained with a neat little portion that features the Nike ACG logo produced directly into the frabic. A sewn on patch testifies the product’s guarantee as authentically Pendleton and with the bag being an ACG design you can assure all the necessary design features for a hiking/outdoor bag are included.

Nike Sportswear Spring/Summer 2009 Preview

After first giving you a preview of the footwear, we now show you the apparel and accessories of the Nike Sportswear Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Nike ACG is celebrating its 20th anniversary next year and that was also the main inspiration of the new collection.

Taking inspiration from its sports history, Nike Sportswear looked at its outdoor product line as an inspiration source for Spring Summer ‘09. Drawing further inspiration from the colors and materials of outdoor obsession The Sportswear Design Team connected to the roots of ACG, using a palette of bright colors, elemental graphics and new materials.

Staying true to the Nike Sportswear legacy calls for a continual remixing of the eight icons that the Sportswear lineage is built upon in celebration of the pinnacle in performance design for both footwear and apparel. The Air Force 1, the Windrunner, AW 77 Hoody, the Nike Dunk, Air Max 90, Eugene Track Jacket, the Cortez and Nike Sportswear Tee continue as icons of infinite inspiration that guide the Sportswear line and its assortments.

Of the Iconic 8, the Cortez and the Eugene Track Jacket arose as the two symbolic icons that embody what the 2009 Spring/Summer collection is all about.
