The message from SOPH. and Nike’s fantasy soccer team. F.C.R.B. this season is “Let’s work out!”. Sure, the look book may have been all about the soccer hooligans, but the August 2010 new releases seem to point at a healthier direction– to hit the gym, or at least look like you intend to work on polishing the guns. With track suits that quite blatantly spell out “GYM”, the message can’t be any clearer. And if we do want to connect the look book with the collection, we expect hooligans to have sufficient muscles to do bad all by themselves. After all, it is not an easy task to lug cans of gasoline to burn some cars to the ground.

Nike Sportswear X Fragment Design Air Zoom All Court Low

What do you think fragment design choice Nike footwear is? Apparently, it is the All Court Low because for the past few seasons, fragment design have picked the classic low-top tennis shoe to work on for its collaboration. After a run with colored canvas, fragment design returns to its basic black and white design with just a tiny pop of color for a twist– just in the heel with an embossed fragment design logo. Simplicity is fragment design’s decree when it comes to the Nike Zoom All Court Low, and these have been walking themselves off the racks because they go with everything and will continue to do so until the end of time. These are set to release on August 28 at retailers such as Head Porter in Japan.

Nike X PHANTACi- Air Max 1 'Grand Piano'

Nike has collaborated with Taiwan’s one and only Tier Zero door, PHANTACi, on a new Air Max 1 entitled the 'Grand Piano'. This collaboration 'Grand Piano' Air Max 1 was designed by PHANTACi’s two owners, Ric Chiang and Taiwanese Pop Icon, Jay Chou, who looked to the Piano as a source of inspiration for the colors and materials of this Air Max 1. These limited edition Air Max 1’s are scheduled to drop at Taiwan’s PHANTACi on Saturday, December 12th.

The Air Max 1 is the second pair that Nike has worked with PHANTACi on, the first pair came last year as a part of a special friends and family promo only run, while this second time around PHANTACi will be releasing a limited number of pairs including 150 at PHATACi Taipei and 50 pairs at PHANTACi Taichung. Included in this release will be the PHANTACi 'Grand Piano' T-shirt as well as a special box for the collaboration sneakers that includs a shoelace lock, handmande hand link, and of course the Nike and PHANTACi Air Max 1 'Grand Piano' sneakers.

Nike has officially announced their new partnership with (RED) in an effort to fight AIDS in Africa. Nike President and CEO, Mark Parker, and (RED) CEO Susan Smith Ellis were joined by Nike sponsored soccer players from around the world to launch the new joint effort. U2 singer and (RED) co-founder Bono was also in attendance to stress the need for immediate action in the battle against AIDS.

The new effort will attack AIDS both by supplying funds for treatment and education in Africa, as well as by harnessing the power of sport and recognition of the Nike brand to bring needed attention to the problem.

Nike's "Lace Up. Save Lives." campaign begin with Nike selling (PRODUCT) RED laces. All profits from the laces which will be sold at Nike.com, Nike stores and other retailers, will be split equally between The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and other soccer-based community initiatives to spread education and understanding of HIV/AIDS prevention.

Nike President and CEO, Mark Parker, believes Nike's global visibility can help highlight the issue across the world. “As a global brand and creative company, Nike can play a role in amplifying this important issue,” said Parker. “With football as the catalyst, Nike is joining the (RED) movement to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa.”

Several well known professional players from around the globe will be wearing Nike(RED) laces during upcoming games including: Didier Drogba (Chelsea), Joe Cole (Chelsea), Andrei Arshavin (Arsenal), Marco Materazzi (Inter Milan), Denilson (Arsenal), Lucas Neill (Everton), Clint Dempsey (Fulham) and Seol Ki-Hyeon (Fulham).

180g revisits Nike for a new collection of custom died pieces. The Parisian dye house created an wide array of custom colored sneakers using washed silk, leathers, and mineral flakes for an athletic look. The Air Flytop and Tennis Classic both get ample play alongside other styles, while each pair sports contrast colored laces, reptile applications and more. The launch of this collection takes place Thursday, November 5th at 180g.

Nike Sportswear was a big step for Nike in terms of quality apparel. Today we can show you the probably best jacket to come from the line to date. Featured within the pages of honeyee.mag’s 10th issue is an editorial for Nike Sportswear’s 2009 Fall/Winter campaign starring Hiroshi Fujiwara and friends. Highlighting the collection are a series of M-65 style outerwear jackets along with several fleece pieces, windrunners, and a varsity silhouette.

This weekend the ZIZO M65 Jacket has been released. Similar to previous M65’s from the collection, it comes with a seamless upper, taping and lots of other features and details. This version now comes made of Gore-Tex and it even comes with a thermal liner, making it the perfect winter jacket. Of course the jacket does not come cheap. It will retail for USD500-600, yet keep in mind that something of similar quality from Visvim will put you back around USD1500-2000. The jacket comes in two colorways this season.

Other than the M65, Nike Sportswear also released the M51 Hooded Jacket, the Laser Runner Jacket, as well as a backpack and a messenger bag. All now available from NOS.

The yarn on the loopwheel never comes under tension, resulting in a relaxed fabric that is supremely soft. Nike Transformers Basketball Shoe Collection

Expect Nike to be able to make the most of one of the worlds most successful animations, come blockbuster films. With the premiere of the Transformers sequel set to make waves around the world so to are the Nike Zoom Flight Club, Nike Zoom FP and Nike Sharkalaid that come complete with special packaging, retro graphics to complete an interesting project.

Hasbro and Nike have come together in defining fashion for this exciting project, which may seem a bit childish but once you look past that playful sense you can admire the presence of both parties coming together. Transformers having begun out more than 25 years ago, the good and evil is represented in this collaboration while Nike have left no detail unturned. The shoe packaging mimics the nostalgic toy boxes complete with original Hasbro graphics, J-hooks for hanging display and decoder profiles on the back of the boxes that highlight each robot’s powers.

This week Berlin will be getting very busy. Bread & Butter is back in town and around the fashion tradeshow of course a lot more is going on. Nike Sportswear will be hosting the IAM1 Journey exhibition, which celebrations the evolution of the Air Max 1. The exhibition is opening on Monday at the Nike Spiritroom in Berlin and will run the entire week, while you will see some of the most interesting Air Max 1 releases at Overkill and Wood Wood Berlin. The two stores will be getting a worldwide exclusive pre-release next week, but more on that soon.

Last week, rumors of the Blue Lobster Dunk SB were finally confirmed with production images of the Dunk designed by Boston based CONCEPTS. Details were slowly leaked out earlier this month starting with a viral site, videos and finally images of the Dunk SB and other items such as Alien Workshop Deck, and yesterday the collaboration T-Shirt. Today we finally have images of the special packaging for the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Blue Lobster Edition which is bagged, tagged and sealed in a HAZMAT foam container. Again, this special package will only be available in an edition of 200 at Concepts starting this Saturday June 20th, 2009 at 11am.

Nike X Firmament- LEGION & Wing III T-Shirt

Nike Sportswear and Firmament have collaborated on two new t-shirts that use Firmament’s graphics printed on Nike Dri-Fit t-shirts. One is the new Firmament “Wing III” t-shirt that comes printed on a White Nike Dri-Fit t-shirt in a two-color halftone design. The “LEGION” t-shirt comes printed on a Black Nike Dri-Fit tee. Both are available now along with the Nike X Fragment Design Air Footscape HF TZ at Firmament.

Nike Sportwear and the Undefeated project CTRS, it’s all about cycling and the previously announced Nike Sportwears Tiempo “The Cutters” Pack is a part of this same project. As you may have guessed CTRS is short for The Cutters, a group of 8 worldwide riders including Undefeated’s Jupiter Desphy, DQM’s Kyle Demers and Lance Armstrong himself.

Undefeated La Brea is now holding a contest to win a UNDFTD/CTRS fixed gear bike. The bike was built in Japan by UNDFTD and a Master kierin race bike builder, and is a fully functional 54cm, left side drive bicycle. To enter to win is easy. Just cruise down to the shop on La Brea, buy a Livestrong band for 1 buck, receive a form to enter and win. Of course, all proceeds go toward the research for the cure of cancer. Nike X Roger Federer- Wimbledon 2009 Collection

For this year’s Wimbledon Tournament, Nike will be outfitting the World’s number two tennis player, Roger Federer, with his own collection of apparel and footwear. Federer will be attempting to beat Pete Samprass’ Grand Slam record of 15 this 2009 Wimbledon Tournament. The Collection that Nike put together for RF includes a jacket inspired by the Nike Sportswear M-65 jacket, a polo that features Nike Dri-Fit’s moisture wicking technology, and lastly a vest and pair of trousers that can be worn accordingly with the weather at Wimbledon.

Janice Lucina is the Nike Tennis Design Director and had this to say about the collection, “This year we took inspiration from a jacket in the Nike Sportswear line, the M-65. Based on this modern interpretation of a classic military silhouette from 1965, we used the body as a starting point and created a tailored look for Roger to wear when walking on and off court. This contemporary piece is intricately hand-crafted and includes engraved zipper pulls with premium detailing throughout the garment that’ll give Roger a clean, understated look as he walks on court.”

Inspired by the popular Nike Air Trainer worn by world-class athletes Bo Jackson and John McEnroe, who ignited the athletic training boom 20 years ago, the new Nike Trainer 1 was designed to provide today’s athletes with lightweight comfort and support as they prepare for competition.

Today we present you the first part of the upcoming collaborative project between Dr. Romanelli, Mexican retailer Shelter and Nike. The Los Angeles based designer worked on caps as part of the project, made of artesanal Mexican textiles, vintage Nike windrunners and sportswear windrunners. This is the first time that the Dr. has applied his techniques to building hats. The collection will be available exclusively at the Shelter stores in Mexico. Nylon’s collaborative project with Nike Sportswear, the Dunk-Hi Pack, finally made its debut in the May issue of the magazine. Nylon recruited several friends such as designers Dee and Ricky and Pegleg to don these new fluorescent neon Dunk-His for the spread.

These cheery colored Dunk-His feature a leather/nylon upper with Nylon’s multicolored logo tag sewn on the tongue, and a large Nylon print logo on the sides. Worry not about the side logo being flashy as the logo is so large it becomes very discreet. These flashy numbers are kept simple, adorned only with the iconic Nike Swoosh and the Nylon logo.

These shoes will be available in 5 colorways soon on June 1st at Urban Outfitters and select Nike retailers.

This particular Yi-Jianlian x Air Force 1 Low Supreme the last pair of 1World project in Asia. The shoe features croc skin and woven on the upper in sail with Barkroot Brown outsole, the wall color of The Forbidden City.

A new selection of Nike Sportswear Spring/Summer 09 apparel items are now released. This latest collection released includes the Gradient Grid Shell Jacket, Gradient Board Short and Dri-Fit The Standard Tee. The Gradient Grid Shell Jacket is an eye-catching piece which features gradation check prints to create a spectrum-look. The hooded 100% polyester light-weight jacket features an extra chest pocket, aside from the two regular side pockets, for extra storage. They come in Medium Blue, Black and Electrolime. The Gradient Board Short from this same release features the same gradation check prints as the jacket. They are chloride-resistant and made with quick-dry nylon. The interesting thing about these shorts is that they use a no-sewing technology, so the wearer does not notice the seams and the shorts are comparably more comfortable. In terms of product they present the Lunar Livestrong Pack, consisting of two sneakers. Next comes the Evolution of Air, which is a pack consisting of three Air Max’s. The most interesting pack is probably the Greatest Hits pack, which consists of collaborations with So_Me, Mr. Cartoon and Futura. Last but not least there is The Cutters pack.

In terms of clothing they worked on a Livestrong Flywire Windrunner and on a Nike Sportswear M-65 Jacket. All product comes in the black/yellow colorway, known from LIvestrong.

Wieden+Kennedy 12, in conjunction with Nike and LAIKA Studios, conceptualized this mysterious Dunk to celebrate Coraline, LAIKA’s first feature film, which will be released by Focus Features. True to the films unique, handcrafted anime style, the high-end canvas upper features a turned edge and the black visible seam is hand-sewn, ensuring each pair has a unique bespoke feel. The tonal contrast in materials and subtle, hidden details reflect the film’s sense of curiosity, not to mention the glow in the dark sole – spooky! The final product was created by artist Gian Galang and Rob Heppler.

A run of 1,000 is available for those lucky people who uncover codes on the Coraline website. A limited edition artist pack has also been released. These feature additional props from the film and a special box.

The special wooden collector’s box includes a special key in addition to a high-quality box filled with a print seen on the under portion of the lid. The Coraline movie is the most recent release 3-D animated release from film-makers LAIKA and is currently showing at select theaters.

This wooden box set was made for the 15 best sneaker stores around the globe. St. Alfred from Chicago, has one of them.

F.C.R.B. launched their new 2009 Spring/Summer Collection. This football inspired clothing line uses a series of toy figures for its models showing the beginning of a football game till the end. The F.C.R.B. website is based around five stages, Supporter, Warm Up, Locker Room, Game and Gym.

In 1999, the keyword, "BRISTOL" was defined as an imaginary football club for the first time by the Japanese company SOPH, and then F.C Real Bristol started as an independent label to express a new category that see football as a lifework, and suggesting original fashion that imaging all the people who exist with the imaginary football club such like players and supporters.

NIKE agreed with the concept that develops football equipment as original fashion wear by it's creative concepts. It means a real existing company sponsored an imaginary football club.and it became an epic-making collaboration brand.

The designer, Hirofumi Kiyonaga's great passion for football supports the football in both imaginary and real existing world, and he has sponsored real football club Tokyo Verdy , Oita Trinita for J league.

In 2007, the year of starting season for professional futsal league, F league, F.C.R.B. also started their futsal collection, FCRB-FIVE, and start sponsoring Oita Vasagey for F league.

Uniform Experiment is a Japanese clothing line by SOPHNET.’s Hirofumi Kiyonaga and Fragment Design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara. They came together to create this mature clothing line to show a different element of their take on fashion. To welcome the Chinese Lunar New Year, Nike has teamed up with Clot to launch the lucky-red inspired Nike x CLOT Air Force 1, the auspicious addition to the Nike 1World AF1 Project that features a total of 18 influential style leaders in sports, music, art and design. The Nike Clot Air Force 1 pays tribute to the themes of luck, happiness and prosperity - as represented by the color red - which prevail during traditional Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations.

The Nike Clot Air Force 1 will be available on 16th January 2009, for a suggested retail price of HK$2800 (Hong Kong) or RMB2800 (China), exclusively for JUICE and ACU.

Special features of the Nike Clot Air Force 1 include:

• an upper-shoe made from red Clot Royale Deluxe Silk, the most recognizable Chinese-made textile, with embroidered trademark Clot graphics inspired by thousand-year-old Chinese prints;

Nike Liberty X MILKFED Womens Dunk High Premium

Nike has teamed up with Liberty again on another Dunk High, this new release combines a number of different Liberty patterns on the upper of the Dunk High as opposed to the single pattern that we saw on the two pairs released back in April. In addition to using the Liberty fabrics, this colorway was created together with Sofia Coppola’s Japan based MILKFED. The upper uses at least four different fabric patterns from the London based Liberty, and when pieced together it definitely gives the shoe a bolder look. Additionally the shoes feature Nike Zoom Air to give the shoes more cushion and a smoother ride when wearing it. You can pick these up now at BOBOS or wait for them to release at other Nike Sportswear retailers in the upcoming weeks. Hiroshi Fujiwara gives another preview of an upcoming collaboration between Nike on the Tennis Classic, Fragment Design and Uniform Experiment. The sneaker comes in all white, with an embossed Swoosh, and features both the Fragment and the Uniform Experiment logos on the heel. After visited Nike Singapore at Wisma Atria last weekend, very disappointed for the set up and the goods. Maybe my expectation are too high for this so call 'largest concept store in South East Asia'.

Apparels- Just have few pieces of NSW project items like Boston FZ Hoody & Eugene Track Jacket, no NSW trademark T-shirt at all. Have check with the Nike store staff- Ben (from HK Nike Sportswear Store). Noted that Nike Singapore will not bring in the NSW collections and he had mention that most of the Singaporean are NOT trendy compare with Hong Kong.

After recently showing some images of the opening of the new Nike Sportswear Flagship Store Tokyo & Hong Kong. Today Nike Singapore will be opening the first Nike flagship store, in the famed Orchard Road located at Wisma Atria Shopping Centre. The Nike Wisma Atria flagship store will be the largest concept store in South East Asia and offer exclusive products and services, such as the new Nike iD Studio.
